Barbera Passito

Description

Barbera Passito. A wine with a deep red color with violet hues that reveals a fine, persistent and balanced bouquet on the nose. After drying selected grapes in rows sheltered from the rain, a classic red wine-making process follows, then racking into barriques for 10-12 months and aging in steel tanks and finally bottling. A perfect marriage between the full body of Barbera and the sweetness given by the drying process.

Taste - Intense, warm, robust

Pairings - Ideal with elaborate meat dishes, boiled meats and in combination with veal tonnato.
