Brusaia, our Langhe Freisa, has a deep ruby red color with violet hues, giving a foretaste of the complexity of the aroma, vinous, typically fruity albeit with some vegetal hints. The taste is dry, very tannic and astringent: due to its distinctive acidic component, Freisa is perfect paired with typical Piedmontese dishes.
Taste - Dry, tannic and astringent
Pairings - Wine of great Piedmontese traditions. Much used in the past because it paired well with old Piedmontese cuisine. Because of its marked acidity and tannicity, it is excellent with very fatty dishes as it leaves the palate very clean
